🏷️Giving your Trader a Nickname

This step helps you label the trader you’re copying so you can easily recognize them later. It’s especially useful if you plan to copy more than one trader. Step 2 of 7

🎯 What this step does

A nickname is just a friendly name for the trader’s wallet you added in Step 1. It doesn’t affect trading behavior, but it makes your copy trading setup easier to manage and understand.

Instead of seeing a long wallet address, you’ll see something like:

  • “Smart Whale”

  • “Alpha Caller”

  • “NFL Specialist”

  • “High Risk Trader”

Much cleaner. Much easier on the brain.

🛠 How to complete this step

  1. Type a nickname for the trader in the chat

  2. Send the message

Or, if you don’t want to name them right now:

  • Tap Skip to continue without setting a nickname

You can always rename the trader later from your copy trade settings.

⚠️ Important notes

  • Nicknames are for your reference only

  • They don’t change how copy trading works

  • They help avoid confusion when copying multiple traders

  • Skipping is totally fine if you only copy one trader

💡 Good to know

  • Use descriptive names based on strategy or behavior Examples: “Low Risk”, “Crypto News Trader”, “Fast Scalper”

  • Short and clear names are best

  • Good naming saves you headaches later when managing trades
